| Abstract: |
A one-dimensional numerical model to simulate the ignition process of hydrogen/air mixtures due to repetitive streamer discharges is presented. The influence of the reduced electric field and the electron density on the temperature in the discharge volume and the ignition delay time is studied. The energy source term is separated into a thermal and a nonequilibrium part. Thus, the energy coupling to the plasma can be analyzed. |
